Install: Android APK first. The app is about 55 MB.
Model: Gemma 4 E2B is about 2.6 GB and installs inside CAST after first launch.
Already downloaded Gemma? v58 uses Android's file picker. Choose gemma-4-E2B-it.litertlm from Downloads so Android grants CAST access.
  1. Download the APK on Android.
  2. Open it and allow install from this browser if Android asks.
  3. Create or continue local-only.
  4. Install the local model from CAST's Model setup screen. Use Wi-Fi and keep the app open while it installs.
  5. Send feedback from Tools after one real Read Room session.
CAST runs local-first when the model is installed. Account verification, feedback upload, model download, and app updates require internet.
